About Greendiggers
Greendiggers is a financial education and financial empowerment company that targets first-generation wealth builders, especially women, who often face financial pressures, uncertainty, and a lack of guidance. On average, women start investing at age 31. Our goal is to get them invested sooner, and help them approach money with confidence, turning early opportunities—like internships, first jobs, or career-progression—into long-term stability.
We provide culturally grounded financial education that eliminates intimidation, and addresses the unique challenges these individuals face.
We aim to transform their relationships with money through personal coaching sessions and group programs to expertly designed tools like journals and books, Greendiggers is committed to making financial literacy enjoyable and accessible. Our educational approach values clarity and empathy, ensuring that all participants feel included and inspired to take actionable steps towards their financial goals.

About
Hi! I’m Lisa Jane Celestine, a former Senior Bank Supervisor in the Federal Reserve System, and an ex-stockbroker. My vision is to equip high income earners and soon-to-be high income earners with the systems, discipline, structure, and knowledge needed to elevate their finances, fit for their desired lifestyle. I hold an MBA from the Johnson School at Cornell University, and a bachelor’s degree from the McDonough school of Business at Georgetown University. I’ve been a featured financial literacy speaker at Georgetown University, New York University, various non-profits, high schools, and religious organizations for the past eighteen years.
